Akron Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Thursday, August 21st , 2025 Not even the most diehard Akron RubberDucks fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the RubberDucks were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. Akron hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 11 seasons in the EL. |
