Morris Leads Iowa to 1-0 Win Over New Orleans Thursday, September 3rd , 2026 Mike Morris kept the New Orleans Zephyrs hitters from doing much damage at Principal Park. New Orleans could only muster 4 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Morris, who controlled them throughout the game. Iowa won the contest, 1-0. Morris added 8 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Morris told reporters after the shutout win.
