Injury Brings Season to End for Manuel Tuesday, July 14th , 2026 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Memphis's Sergio Manuel to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/12/2026 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Manuel said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Manuel has been out of action since he suffered a torn meniscus. This year, Manuel has chalked up a 5.64 ERA with 2 saves. In 15 relief appearances he has put up a 1-0 won-lost mark and struck out 24 batters in 30.1 innings. |
