Omaha Snaps Hale Streak at 21 Saturday, May 16th , 2026 It was the best of both worlds for the Omaha Storm Chasers at Cashman Field, as they defeated the Las Vegas 51s, 2-0, and also snapped Bo Hale's 21-game hitting streak. The 24-year-old Las Vegas shortstop failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats. "Nothing personal against Hale, we just wanted to win the game," said Storm Chasers skipper Rajai Davis. "We did a great job keeping him off-balance and guessing." When asked by reporters about his streak coming to an end, Hale frowned and said, "I won't lie and say that I'm not disappointed about it, but I'd feel much better if we had won." On the season, Hale is batting .340 with no home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 24 games. |
