Big Day for Margot: Swats 5 Hits Sunday, August 10th , 2025 The Nashville Sounds stopped the Colorado Springs Sky Sox by a score of 9-6 at Herschel Greer Stadium, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Manuel Margot. The 30-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Margot said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Margot did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Sky Sox. "Not much that I can say," offered Colorado Springs manager Brian Falkenborg. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Manuel Margot singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ed Ferrell in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Ed Ferrell in the 7th.
