Kemp Top AC Pitcher in July Friday, August 1st , 2025 The Pitcher of the Month Award in July has been selected and the American Conference honor went to Iowa hurler, Jim Kemp. For his excellent performance he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, Kemp was superb with a 1.62 ERA and 5 wins and no losses. In 39 innings he struck out 27 and gave up 33 hits and 9 walks. This season, Kemp has a 12-7 mark in 22 starts with a 3.13 ERA. He has given up 158 hits in 158 innings, struck out 136 and issued 32 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .260 batting average against him. |
