Getting a good performance from third baseman Zach Kennedy, the South Bend Cubs defeated the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 6-4. Kennedy was 2-2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Cubs. Artie Maddox earned the save for South Bend, his 14th of the year. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for the Cubs.
