Wisconsin and Kane County took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers defeated the Kane County Cougars, 16-3. Doing his part was right fielder Steve Walker, who belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Sergio Ortíz notched his 1st save in 1 chances.

With Wisconsin leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Walker hit a fastball from Pat Anderson for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Timber Rattlers ahead, 4-0.
