Bermúdez Silences Kane County Bats
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Kane County Cougars take on the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers starter Tony Bermúdez kept the Kane County Cougars hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 14-2 win. Kane County now owns a losing streak of 7 games.

The Timber Rattlers liked what they saw from Bermúdez. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Cougars to 1 run on 3 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 7.

"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Bermúdez.
