Whitecaps Take Home 3-2 Win Over Fort Wayne
In a low-scoring affair between the West Michigan Whitecaps and the Fort Wayne TinCaps, pitcher Mike Jensen was the difference between victory and defeat. The West Michigan right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Whitecaps win. Chris Whittemore got the save, his 29th in 37 chances. The Whitecaps have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

West Michigan used a clutch at-bat from Chris Jacobs to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Whitecaps ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

West Michigan manager James Russell called it "a pretty good win."
