West Michigan registered a win at Fifth Third Field by beating the Dayton Dragons, 4-0. Pitcher Greg Carr was one reason why the Whitecaps triumphed. Carr picked up the win for West Michigan, going 6.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. The first-place Whitecaps, at 70-33, lead the Eastern Division by 15 games.
