The Clinton LumberKings romped over the Great Lakes Loons, 14-0, at Dow Diamond. Ron Anderson led the way. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Clinton. The Western Division-leading LumberKings are 62-38.

With Clinton leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Anderson hit a changeup from Juan Ortíz for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the LumberKings ahead, 4-0.

"Not my idea of a good time," Great Lakes manager Emilio Bonifacio said, when asked afterward about the game.
