Captains Make It 4 In a Row with 6-5 Triumph Over Great Lakes
Though he had a stellar game, Rob Walls could not prevent his team, the Great Lakes Loons, from losing, 6-5, to the Lake County Captains. Walls was 3-3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Kade Saunders, the winner, goes to 5-1. He allowed 5 runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts over 5.1 innings. The win lifted the Lake County record to 45-36.

The Captains got a big at-bat from center fielder Donnie Robinson. For the game, Robinson was 1-2 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Lake County a 3-1 lead.
