Timber Rattlers Absorb 7-1 Home Loss
Burlington registered a win at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium by beating the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, 7-1. Pitcher Juan Romano was one reason why the Bees triumphed. The third-place Bees lifted their record to 44-34.

Steve Prince had a big run-scoring double for the Bees in the top of the fourth inning. With Burlington leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from 20-year old left-handed pitcher Jesús Gonzáles and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bees ahead, 2-0.

Said losing manager Matt Walbeck: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
