Burlington Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
Eric Beach never let Burlington get something going. The Beloit right-hander commanded his slider in pitching the Snappers to a 5-1 win. The Bees, now 27-47, have lost 8 in a row.

The Snappers got a big at-bat from catcher Jorge Arroyo. For the game, Arroyo was 1-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Beloit a 2-1 lead.

"We're going through a bad spell," said Burlington manager Danny Valencia.
