Kane County Gets Another L
|
Burlington Bees starter Luis González was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kane County Cougars, 4-1. Kane County, at 24-48, has lost 11 straight.
Had Ron Ray not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ray hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Bees.
"This game will humble you at times and you've got to buck up and deal with it," said Kane County manager .
