The Burlington Bees got a stellar effort from pitcher Juan Silva, helping Burlington score a win over the visiting Peoria Chiefs, 6-2. Earning his 6th save for Burlington was António Ramírez. The victory gives Burlington a record of 38-30.
Raúl Pérez chipped in a solo home run for Burlington in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
