The Bowling Green Hot Rods received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Ed Alexander, allowing them to bump off the Lansing Lugnuts, 3-1. The save went to Felipe Melle, number 10 for him. The triumph puts Bowling Green at 33-32 for the season.
