TinCaps Rack Up 3-2 Win Versus South Bend
In a low-scoring affair between the Fort Wayne TinCaps and the South Bend Cubs, pitcher José Hernández was the difference between victory and defeat. The Fort Wayne right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 TinCaps win. The win went to Jeremy Jackson in relief. His record improves to 2-1. José Maréz took the loss. Fort Wayne now sits at 29-35, while South Bend falls to 33-31.

Juvenal Morroni had a big solo home run for the TinCaps in the bottom of the second inning. With Fort Wayne leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from José Maréz and swatted a home run to right. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the TinCaps ahead, 2-0.

Hernández called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
