The Burlington Bees got a good effort from starter Ed Anderson in defeating the Beloit Snappers at Harry C. Pohlman Field. The final score was 4-1. Mike Taylor closed it out for his 13th save. Today's win puts Burlington at 24-32, while Beloit falls to 32-24.

The Bees got a big at-bat from shortstop Darrell Foster. For the game, Foster went 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Burlington a 3-0 lead.

"Ed was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Burlington manager Danny Valencia.
