The Beloit Snappers picked up a win at Alliant Energy Field, topping the Clinton LumberKings, 4-3. On the mound for Beloit was right-hander Eric Beach. He played a principal role in the triumph. Picking up the save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Greg Hall. The loss makes Clinton 27-27.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ken Maxwell? The Beloit catcher had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Snappers on top, 2-0. For the game, Maxwell had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
