Bees Send Cedar Rapids Home with 7-2 Loss
The Burlington Bees topped the Cedar Rapids Kernels, 7-2, with first baseman Steve Prince playing a big role. Prince went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Bees in the win. Burlington raised its record to 24-20 with the win.

Prince had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Joe McLean, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bees a 5-2 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Prince.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Prince.
