Salas Hits 2 home runs in River Bandits Win
The Quad Cities River Bandits cut down the Kane County Cougars by the score of 17-6, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Juan Salas. Salas slugged 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the River Bandits. Quad Cities is now 20-24, Kane County 17-27.

With Quad Cities leading 9-4 in the top of the eighth, Salas came up to bat against Kane County pitcher Jarred Thirkell. Salas hit a slider to right for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the River Bandits on top, 13-4.
