The home crowd had a good time watching the Beloit Snappers and Burlington Bees get after it.

Vinnie Merritt propelled his team to victory over the Beloit Snappers. The final score was 6-3, Burlington. Mike Taylor saved it for Burlington.

Esteban Sánchez went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 for Burlington. The 22-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Clarence Huff. It was his 15th walk of the season.

Burlington manager Danny Valencia said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

The setback makes Beloit 23-19.
