Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium featured a tense pitchers' duel.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers topped the Clinton LumberKings, 2-1, in Midwest League action at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Wisconsin pitcher and Magalia, California, native Chris Mack. Raúl Perea earned the save for Wisconsin.

Wisconsin starter Chris Mack pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7.2 innings.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Mack.

The Timber Rattlers, now 18-20, know that wins in May count the same as wins in September.
