Luis González was terrific for the Burlington Bees in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Beloit Snappers. His performance earned González rave reviews. González got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Burlington now has a record of 22-15 with the win.

Burlington used the hitting of Nate Shaw to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bees on top, 3-0. For the game, Shaw had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
