The South Bend Cubs dealt the Lake County Captains a 6-5 loss at Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium. Chris Allen, who is tied for 9th in the MID in hits with 28, was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. South Bend reliever Sergio Acosta picked up the win, while Benjamin Ledru took the loss for Lake County. Lake County now is 12-10.
