The Burlington Bees got a good effort from starter José Marte in defeating the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Community Field. The final score was 4-2. Burlington is now 7-11.

Burlington went up, 4-2, on José Castro's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Castro hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Wisconsin pitcher Léo Briand shaking his head.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Matt Walbeck.
