The Lake County Captains got a rain-soaked win over the Great Lakes Loons.

Getting offensive support from Víctor Díaz, the Lake County Captains topped the Great Lakes Loons, 8-7. Díaz went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 4 times for the Captains. Ty Allen picked up his 1st save of the season.

Early in the game, first baseman Anastasio Borras had a 2-run triple for Lake County. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Captains on top, 2-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Díaz told the Lake County Citizen.

Lake County is off to a hot start at 12-5.
