Dragons Send Bowling Green Home with 3-2 Loss
In a low-scoring affair between the Dayton Dragons and the Bowling Green Hot Rods, pitcher António Lara was the difference between victory and defeat. The Dayton right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Dragons win. The Hot Rods drop to 6-10, as their fitful start to the 2026 campaign continues.

José Amalia had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Dayton. With the bases loaded and the Dragons leading 1-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"We busted our tails," said Bowling Green manager James Hoyt. "But we came up short."
