Lansing Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Nicholas
Lansing first baseman Mike Nicholas was sensational. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Great Lakes beat the Lugnuts, 12-7. Lansing drops to 7-6.

Great Lakes used the hitting of Alex Davis to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Loons on top, 5-4. For the game, Davis had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Lansing manager Corey Ragsdale.
