Hot Rods Raise Rally Flag, Beat West Michigan, 4-2
West Michigan wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Joe Glass, falling to the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 4-2. Glass threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. The save went to Felipe Melle, number 2 for him. The loss drops West Michigan to 6-4.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the eighth, with the game tied, Daniel Moreno was at the plate when Bowling Green scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Hot Rods to go in front, 3-2.

In postgame remarks, Moreno hailed his team's "single-minded focus."
