Led by António Cháves, the New Britain Rock Cats defeated the Altoona Curve, 13-0. Cháves was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Rock Cats. The win puts New Britain at 9-7.

Jon Rollins hit a run-scoring double off Danny O'Heir in the top of the second, which put the Rock Cats in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Rollins had 2 singles and 2 walks, while going 3 for 4.
