Mets Defeat Miracle, 6-4
The St. Lucie Mets knocked off the Fort Myers Miracle, 6-4, in Florida State League action at Tradition Field. St. Lucie pitcher and Tampa, Florida, native Colt Peters had an outstanding performance. The Mets bumped their record to 83-55 with this win.

St. Lucie got a clutch hit from Steve Adams. The catcher launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

Adams told a St. Lucie Chronicle reporter that he felt "like dancing the hula" after the win.
