Brevard County Manatees starter Ron McKinney hurled his team past the Tampa Yankees, 5-2. Brevard County now sits at 58-70, while Tampa falls to 69-59.

Brevard County used a well-timed hit by Brad Holmes to capture the win. The first baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Manatees ahead, 4-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"It feels good to get this one," Holmes told the Brevard County Today.
