St. Lucie Mets starter Ed Harvey found his groove in his team's 6-2 win over the Clearwater Threshers. The win for the Mets lifted their record to 59-45.

Noel Hogan had a big 2-run double for the Mets in the bottom of the fourth inning. With St. Lucie leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Dan Davis and swatted a double to left. It was his 24th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mets ahead, 4-0.

"Ed did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said St. Lucie manager Jorge Hernandez.
