Manatees Score Late to Beat Mets, 7-6
|
The Brevard County Manatees defeated the St. Lucie Mets by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Jeremy McGee. McGee was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Manatees on the day. Brevard County reliever Tony Bermúdez got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Doug Merrill was tagged with the loss. Brevard County is now 37-46, while St. Lucie is 49-34.
