Threshers Rally Late to Clip Brevard County
Bright House Field was host to some action-packed drama.

Clearwater pitcher Jorge Marrón did his part in helping his team beat the Brevard County Manatees, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The win elevated the Threshers to 41-36.

The decisive blow was delivered by Lou Bannatyne in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Mathews to win the game for Clearwater. The home crowd went nuts.

"Jorge did a good job keeping the game under control," said Clearwater manager Hector Santiago.
