Todd belts 3 home runs to Light Flying Tigers Fuse
The Lakeland Flying Tigers beat the St. Lucie Mets, 11-7, at Tradition Field. The Flying Tigers got a fine performance from catcher Doug Todd, who belted 3 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring three times. Lakeland reliever Juan Ortega picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Steve Randolph absorbed the loss. With the win, Lakeland has a record of 48-26. St. Lucie falls to 43-31.

In the top of the seventh, the Flying Tigers grabbed the lead when Todd hit his 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Steve Randolph made it 9-6, Lakeland.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Todd.
