Manatees Absorb 3-2 Loss at Hammond Stadium
In a tight tilt between Fort Myers and Brevard County, pitcher César Barbosa was a key contributor. The right-hander earned accolades for his standout performance in the 3-2 Miracle win. The Miracle, at 33-40, inhabit 4th place in the FSL South.

In the bottom of the sixth, Jon Adams delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 3rd, the Fort Myers shortstop hit a run-scoring single, putting the Miracle in front, 3-2.

"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Fort Myers manager Tony Thomas. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
