Jackson Toys with St. Lucie in 3-0 Win

Eric Jackson bent a little, but he didn't break against the St. Lucie Mets. The Lakeland Flying Tigers pitcher hurled a 3-hit, 3-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering no walks and tallying 5 strikeouts.
"Eric is good at getting out of jams," Flying Tigers manager Donald Lutz told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."
To date this season, Jackson sports a 6-4 mark with a 5.53 ERA in 13 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .287 batting average and has 64 strikeouts in 70 innings.
