Anderson Excels in 13-9 Daytona Win
The Daytona Tortugas topped the Clearwater Threshers by a score of 13-9. Leading the way was right fielder Josh Anderson. Anderson was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Tortugas. The setback makes Clearwater 26-45.

The Threshers had been locked in a 8-8 tie with the Tortugas going into the bottom of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old right fielder Jesús Rodríguez came to the plate. Rodríguez hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 fastball from Clearwater hurler Steve Black. It was Rodríguez's 4th double of the year.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Rodríguez told the Daytona News.
