Thanks in large part to designated hitter Bob McAllister, the Lakeland Flying Tigers beat the Palm Beach Cardinals, 7-3. McAllister was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The victory gives the Flying Tigers a record of 52-16.

With Lakeland leading 1-0 in the top of the third, McAllister hit a fastball from Andy Reeves for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Flying Tigers ahead, 4-0.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said McAllister.
