Winston Lifts Manatees to 7-2 Win
The Brevard County Manatees topped the St. Lucie Mets, 7-2, with youngster Phil Winston playing a key role. Winston was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Manatees in the win. Brevard County is now 27-38, St. Lucie 41-24.

In the bottom of the third, Winston had a 2-run home run for Brevard County. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Manatees on top, 2-0.

Brevard County manager Allen Craig was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
