Dominant Performance by Santana in Charlotte Win
|
Palm Beach had no answer for Charlotte Stone Crabs hurler Jerónimo Santana, who overwhelmed Cardinals hitters as the Stone Crabs coasted to victory, 7-1. With the win, the Stone Crabs hiked their record to 35-30.
Santana pitched a good game for Charlotte. He went the distance, allowing 1 run on 5 hits.
"Jerónimo set the tone," said Brad Salmon, the Stone Crabs manager.
