Brevard County Beats Daytona in 12-Inning Thriller
In a low-scoring game between Brevard County and Daytona, Yasutoki Ikeda was fantastic. The Manatees right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the FSL with a 8.5 K/9 rate, helped his team beat the Tortugas, 3-1, in 12 innings. Brevard County reliever Johnny Blackwell picked up the win to move to 2-2. Don Chase suffered the loss. Despite the win, the Manatees have a lousy 17-39 record.

Brevard County got a clutch hit from Rudy Lamb. The designated hitter launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"This joint was rocking," said Lamb.
