No one was more impactful than Tim Patton in the 9-8 Clearwater win over Palm Beach. Patton, who is tied for 7th in the FSL in triples with 2, went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The win went to José Castro in relief, making him now 1-2. Arturo Robles took the loss for Palm Beach. The setback makes Palm Beach 28-25.

Jim Hawkins was the walk-off hero for Clearwater. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Threshers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
