Bradenton Dealt 12-4 Defeat

Palm Beach second baseman Doug Williams helped his team beat the Bradenton Marauders, 12-4. Williams, who is tied for 5th in the FSL in extra base hits with 19, went 4 for 5 for the Cardinals. Ed White recorded his 1st save for Palm Beach. With the win over Bradenton, the Cardinals improved to 22-26.
In the top of the fifth, Palm Beach right fielder Jim Baker had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Baker stroked a run-scoring single to right-center. It made the score 5-3, Palm Beach. For the game, he was 2-5 with 2 singles.
"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Cardinals manager Irving Falu.
