Hammerheads Deal Lakeland 4-1 Defeat
The Jupiter Hammerheads defeated the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 4-1, at Roger Dean Stadium. Leading the charge for Jupiter was right fielder Wally Ramsey. He was 1-1 with a walk and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times. The Hammerheads improved their record to 24-13 with the win over Lakeland.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Pancho Jaca didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Lakeland trailing 3-1, Jaca retired Lou Watson to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Jaca, with a wink.
