The Lakeland Flying Tigers needed 10 innings to beat the Dunedin Blue Jays, 4-3, at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The win was due in part to pitcher Juan Ortega, who threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Chuck Parsons finished to wrap up his 2nd save. The current losing streak for Dunedin has reached 5 games.

Lakeland needed the clutch hitting of Jeremy Ladner to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Flying Tigers on top, 4-3. For the game, Ladner had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
